What We Believe

The Bible is the infallible Word of God from Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:21. It is the final authority for truth and life. (2 Peter 1:21; 2 Timothy 3:16)
The Holy Trinity exist in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Colossians 2:9; 1 John 5:7-8; John 14:16)
God the Father is all-powerful (Omnipotent), all-knowing (Omniscient), and all-present (Omnipresent). He is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. He is love. (Genesis 1:1; Romans 8:15; Revelation 19:6; 1 John 4:8,16; 3:20; Proverbs 15:3)
Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He was born of a virgin, He lived a spotless and holy life, died on the cross, and rose the third day to become the propitiation for our sins. He is alive today and making intercession for His children to the Father. His atoning death was the final payment for all of humanities sin. I know that Jesus will return one day soon to claim His bride. (John 1:14; Romans 3:24-25; 1 John 4:9; Romans 8:34)
The Holy Spirit draws men to Jesus Christ and indwells the saints of God to empower them in their faith walk. He comforts us and seals us unto the day of redemption when we will see our blessed redeemer. (Ephesians 1:13; 4:30; John 6:44; 14:26; Acts 1:8)
All men, male and female, are created in the image of God. All have sinned and fallen short and are therefore in need of a Savior to redeem them. (Genesis 1-2)
Salvation is the free gift of God and must be received by faith. Salvation is through the blood of Jesus Christ and Him alone. Man cannot work his way into heaven but must trust in the finished work of the cross for the forgiveness of sin. To be saved one must be drawn by the Spirit to repentance of sin, confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead. All who receive the gift of salvation are washed clean by the blood of Jesus Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit and become the children of God to an eternal inheritance in heaven with the Father. (John 6:44; Romans 10:9; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:12)
